The Tides of March

This past weekend I had the pleasure of taking part 3-fold in the Kingston Canadian Film Festival!

Pictured in B&W is my alter ego Lederhosen Lucil ROCKING songs from the 20-year-old album (!) TALES FROM THE PANTRY to a surprised pub crowd at The Toucan. She warmed up the stage for 3 emerging bands from Kingston - Good Fortune, Scott Owen and Tiny Horse.

Our music graced not only the stage but the screen as well! We were so happy to hear that Gail Maurice's feature ROSIE made its way back to The Screening Room for a sold out run. If you're flying Air Canada in the coming weeks check it out in-flight and listen in for some hypo records chansons…

Lastly we had the pleasure of being included in the Local Shorts Program that was curated by filmmaker Ahmed Ismaiel Nour. “Idiomatiques” (it's now available on our youtube channel to watch - enjoy!) my experimental music video for “Idiomatiques,” had its world premiere on the big screen with big sound Sunday afternoon in front of a lovely local audience. Merci to Fran Ashcroft, 50% of Les Chouettes (Yé! Yé!) for providing me with the space drum sample that started it all…
