If you find the page where I'm playing mein heavy metal keyboard und Frankenstein (I finally read das book on my recent Texas tour...go Mary!) you may be suprised to know that this was part of a birthday card made for my creator Krista by rockabilly troubadour und Montreal legend "Bloodshot Bill." I think I played my first show in Montreal EVER with Bloodshot Bill at old indie music haunt (RIP) Jailhouse on das corner of Mont Royal und Clark. Bloodshot was always a supporter of mein musik und crazy performance und even was the entertainment at my bass player Shane's (see the garden gnome, line-cook, und nerd pictures in the buch - the blue-eyed boy ist Shane!) wedding a few years back! I'm not sure if anyone has been reading these book blog entries and if someone has I'm sorry it's been a few months since my last confession. Well, only a quarter of a year has past since last I wrote. Egads!

Flipping open my "Joy of Hosen" I land upon the page with the cover to Hosemusik. On the opposite page there is a letter that was sent to me with an order including a money order for the shipping and handling and CD. The strange and beautiful thing about this page is that last weekend I was driving up to a friend's cottage near Mont Tremblant and in the dusk light we passed by this giant sign on the side of the highway and it was the logo/letterhead that I had received dated Halloween eve, 2002?!@#!

Now I know the region where a family is maybe hunkered down listening to Hosemusik...
